Pierina Plats Maison operates a weekly preorder prepared-meal service offering pickup and delivery within Québec, Canada.

All food preparation and handling are conducted in accordance with applicable Canadian and Québec regulations, including MAPAQ standards where applicable.


2. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada.

Any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Québec.


3. Language

This website is available in both English and French.

In accordance with Québec regulations, a French version of these Terms may be provided. In case of discrepancy, the version required under applicable Québec law shall prevail.


4. Weekly Menu and Ordering System

Pierina Plats Maison operates on a weekly preorder production model designed to ensure freshness and quality.

Menu Release
Menus are published weekly, typically on Fridays.

Order Period
Orders must be placed within the announced order window. Orders submitted after the deadline may not be accepted.

Production Schedule
Meals are prepared fresh on designated production days, typically Sunday and Wednesday.

We reserve the right to modify menu availability, preparation schedules, and order deadlines as necessary.


5. How to Order

The ordering process follows a four-step system:

Step 1 — Add to Cart
Customers select meals from the weekly menu and choose pickup or delivery.

Step 2 — Checkout
Customers review their order and complete checkout.

Step 3 — Preparation
Meals are freshly prepared and made available for pickup or delivery.

Step 4 — Consumption
Customers are responsible for reheating, storing, and consuming meals safely.


6. Pricing and Payments

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified.

Online payments are processed securely through Stripe or other authorized payment providers.

Pierina Plats Maison does not store full credit card information.

We reserve the right to:

  • correct pricing errors

  • cancel orders affected by technical errors

  • refuse transactions suspected of fraud


7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers agree to contact Pierina Plats Maison before initiating a chargeback.

Initiating a chargeback without attempting resolution may result in:

  • suspension of ordering privileges

  • refusal of future service

Fraudulent disputes may be reported to payment processors.


8. Order Cancellation and Refund Policy

Because meals are prepared fresh and ingredients are purchased in advance:

Orders are generally final after the order deadline.

Refunds or credits may be issued at our discretion in exceptional circumstances.


9. Food Safety and Allergen Notice

IMPORTANT — READ INGREDIENTS CAREFULLY

Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient lists prior to ordering.

Pierina Plats Maison shall not be responsible for allergic reactions resulting from:

10. Cross-Contamination

Our kitchen handles common allergens including but not limited to:

11. Food Handling and Storage Responsibility

Once food leaves our premises, Pierina Plats Maison is not responsible for:

  • temperature control

  • refrigeration

  • freezing

  • transportation

  • reheating methods

Customers are solely responsible for proper storage and safe consumption.

Failure to follow food safety practices may increase risk of foodborne illness.


12. Consumption and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pierina Plats Maison shall not be liable for:

  • illness

  • allergic reactions

  • injuries

  • damages

resulting from consumption, storage, reheating, or handling of food after pickup or delivery.


13. Delivery and Pickup

Customers must ensure:

  • correct address information

  • accessibility for delivery

  • timely pickup

We are not responsible for:

  • missed deliveries due to customer absence

  • incorrect address details

  • delays caused by weather or traffic conditions

Risk of loss transfers to the customer at the time of delivery or pickup.


14. Images and Product Representation

Images displayed on this website are for presentation purposes only.
Final dishes may differ in appearance, portioning, or presentation due to preparation methods, ingredient variation, or seasonal availability.


15. Shelf Life and Consumption Timing

Meals are prepared fresh and intended to be consumed within the recommended timeframe provided on packaging or product pages.

Pierina Plats Maison shall not be responsible for quality or safety of meals consumed after recommended storage periods.


16. Website Use

Users agree not to:

  • attempt unauthorized access
