Prepared meals vs meal kits in Montreal

Good food brings people together

Montreal search results mix three offers: kits (you cook), same-day restaurant bags, and prepared meal prep. WeCook, Factor, Sublime Creations and FreshMTL sit with us in the third group. We are not a kit.

A kit still needs 20–40 minutes and a sink. Our plates are refrigerated, then reheated. Portions on a recent weekly list sat around 550–575 g for mains. Soups and bowls are smaller. Prices are the CAD numbers on each product — we do not invent competitor price tables that go stale in a week.

You still have to order by Wednesday 11:59 pm for the rotating list. That is the trade: no nightly cooking, no daily driver, no subscription auto-charge.

Questions

Local FAQ

Is Pierina like HelloFresh in Montreal?

No. HelloFresh is a meal kit. We cook the food. You reheat it.

Are you a WeCook clone?

Same product family (prepared meals), different kitchen, different days, no subscription requirement. Compare the live menu and the cutoff; do not trust a blog table of last year’s prices.

Can I mix year-round dishes?

Yes. Year-round items have no Wednesday cutoff. They can travel on the same cook-day routes.
