Small-event catering in Montreal for rooms that are still rooms

Too big for one roast chicken, too small for a banquet contract. Homemade trays from Laval, bilingual quote, CAD, about 50 km.

Small-event catering in Montreal for rooms that are still rooms

Good food brings people together

Small-event catering is the search people use when they are embarrassed to call it catering. Twelve colleagues. Eighteen cousins. A committee that meets in a church basement in Saint-Laurent. A condo lounge in Brossard. Pierina’s scale fits that middle: we already pack household meal prep, and we already pack office trays. Eight to thirty portions is not a special machine. It is the honest centre of the kitchen.

Private-event catering is the wider story (showers, receptions). This page exists so a 12-person brief does not drown next to a 40-person Christmas party. If you are closer to a family Sunday, use family-gathering catering. If you are closer to a downtown boardroom, use office lunch. Cannibalizing those URLs with a cloned paragraph would help no one.

Logistics shrink with the count, they do not disappear. We still need a date, a postal code and a receiver. Pickup at 3954 Bd Leman often wins for small Laval and North Shore tables (Terrebonne, Blainville, Sainte-Thérèse). Montreal island and the South Shore still want a confirmed window if nobody can drive.

We will not print a “starting at $X per person” badge. That number would be fiction without your count and pack. The pricing page lists the questions; the quote lists the CAD.

What “small” means in this kitchen

  • A count you can write on one line — not a maybe-80
  • One or two mains plus sides, not a seven-station menu
  • Trays you can park on a dining table, or boxes you can stack in a fridge
  • Same Sunday/Wednesday production rhythm unless the quote holds another cook slot

Small rooms across the 50 km ring

  • A Plateau or downtown apartment that can seat ten if someone takes the couch
  • A Longueuil or Boucherville dining room that does not want a restaurant minimum
  • A Terrebonne or Repentigny family room that can pick up on the 25/40
  • A West Island kitchen island that becomes a buffet for twenty

Skip us if

  • A headcount that keeps growing in the email thread without a lock
  • A request for wait staff “just for the first hour”

Saint-Jérôme, Châteauguay, Deux-Montagnes and Mascouche sit near the rim. Small events there are welcome when the pin is inside the radius; they are pickup events when it is not. We would rather say no than invent a courier.

Vegetarian splits matter more at 16 than at 4. Give the number. MAPAQ kitchen, MAPAQ, honest allergen talk.

Send the real number. We will not upsell you into a hall we do not have.

Questions

Local FAQ

What is the minimum for small-event catering?

There is no theatrical minimum. If the count is tiny, the weekly menu may be cheaper and faster. If it is a true guest list, we quote.

Can a small event be picked up in Laval?

Yes. 3954 Bd Leman, in the window we confirm. Often the best answer for 8–20 portions.

Do you deliver small events to Saint-Bruno or Sainte-Thérèse?

When the address is inside about 50 km and the date has a route. Otherwise pickup.

Servers for a small cocktail?

No. Food only. You host.
