Storage · cold first, heat second

Fridge life for Pierina meals in Montreal

Keep Pierina plates cold from the Laval door to your fridge. How-to-reheat is the heat step. This page is the hours in between — after Sunday pickup or a ~50 km drop. We will not invent a fake “14-day fresh” badge.

Good food brings people together

Pickup is Sunday 4:00–7:00 p.m. at 3954 Bd Leman. Delivery is Sunday optional or Wednesday 3:00–7:00 p.m. Get the bag into a fridge, not a warm car on the 15.

Read the lid. Mains in grams, soups in ml, never kg. If the week’s card says eat sooner, believe the card, not a blog.

Catering trays have their own reheat page and a shorter party clock. Do not store a Saturday guest tray like a Wednesday lunch.

CAD. No subscription. MAPAQ kitchen — fridge life is not a sterile-lab claim.

What we actually ask

  • Cold bag or a short drive · then the fridge
  • Do not leave a Sunday pickup in the trunk
  • Reheat only what you will eat
  • When unsure, heat and eat — do not stretch a week for a photo

This page is for

  • A household that meal-preps Sunday night
  • Someone who got a Wednesday drop at 6:50 p.m.
  • A gift-meal host who needs to store a bag overnight

Skip us if

  • A “how long does lasagna last in general” essay
  • A sterile gluten-free lab claim

Gluten notes and dietary notes still win if someone cannot eat the tray. Storage does not fix an allergen.

See this week’s lids. Keep cold. Then use the reheat page.

Questions

Local FAQ

How many days in the fridge?

Follow the lid for that week. We will not print a fake universal number that outlives the dish.

Can I freeze?

Some dishes hate the freezer. Ask about that week’s SKU. Do not assume.

Is this the reheat page?

No. This is storage. Reheat is heat. Catering trays have a third page.

Car for an hour after pickup?

Keep it cool. An hour on the 15 in July is not a fridge.
