Catering pricing in Montreal and Laval: what changes the number

We do not publish a laminated “from $X a head” badge. Headcount, pack, pickup versus delivery, and the date change the CAD quote. This page lists the levers so the first email is usable.

Catering pricing in Montreal and Laval: what changes the number

Good food brings people together

Catering pricing pages that invent $18 / $24 / $36 packages are usually fiction. Pierina will not print one. The quote you get is in Canadian dollars, in English or French, for the count and the format you actually sent. Montreal, Laval and the 50 km towns share the kitchen; they do not share a fake matrix.

What moves the number: how many people, trays versus labelled bowls, whether someone picks up at 3954 Bd Leman or we add a drop, whether the date is a quiet Wednesday or a 24 December Réveillon, whether the menu stays inside dishes we already cook or needs a tighter custom brief. Allergen work can add time; it does not create a magic allergen-free plant.

What does not belong on this page: a competitor’s price we guessed, a “starting at” that would be wrong next Friday, a case study with a made-up firm. If you need a number, send date, headcount and postal code. We answer with CAD.

Household weekly meal prep is a cart with visible dish prices — use the weekly menu. Do not treat that cart as a catering rate card for twenty-four guests. The catering menu page explains the food categories; this page explains why the invoice is not on a blog.

Send these facts to get a real quote

  • Date and city (Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, Brossard, Terrebonne, West Island…)
  • Headcount, vegetarian count, allergens to avoid
  • Trays, boxes, or a mix
  • Pickup on Bd Leman or delivery, plus a receiver

When a quote comes back higher or lower

  • Lower: pickup in Laval, a count we can pack from the current repertoire, a mid-week kitchen day
  • Higher: a far pin still inside 50 km, a Saturday we must hold, a custom split, December nights
  • No quote: past the radius, a banquet we do not staff, a same-afternoon ask we cannot cook

Skip us if

  • A request for “your best price” with no date and no count
  • A demand that we match a PDF from another caterer

Corporate catering Laval and office lunch Montreal often want labelled bowls; family and birthday tables want trays. The format is a price lever, not a moral ranking. Small events of 8–30 should still send a number — “small” is not a rate.

We will revise a quote if the headcount changes. We will not keep an old December number in January as if food and calendar were frozen. No subscription, no hidden currency conversion.

Ask for the quote. This page will not invent a dollar you can screenshot.

Questions

Local FAQ

Why is there no catering price list?

Because headcount, pack, date and pickup versus delivery change the CAD figure. A public grid would be wrong most weeks.

Are catering prices in CAD?

Yes. Always. The quote says so.

Is pickup cheaper than delivery?

Pickup removes the run. It is often the cleaner Laval option. The quote will show the difference for your count.

Can I use weekly menu prices for a party of 20?

No. Those are household portions on a cart. Catering is a separate pack and a separate quote.
