Corporate catering and office lunch already own the daytime meeting. This page owns the after-five noun people actually type in Quebec: 5 à 7, cinq à sept, after-work trays. The food is still homemade — bowls, salads, something people can stand and eat — not a rented bar.
Write the date, the rough headcount (standing rooms lie), the postal code, and whether anyone needs a vegetarian island. Pickup at 3954 Bd Leman before the 15–19 window is how Laval teams skip the Ville-Marie at 16:40. Island and South Shore drops need a receiver who is not still in the 16:00 standup.
We will not staff a coat check. We will not print an eight-bite package. If the brief is really a Saturday party, that is weekend catering. If it is a sit-down family, that is a tray quote, not a 5 à 7.
Alcohol, glassware and a bartender are your side of the room. Food only, CAD, ~50 km, no subscription.
A 5 à 7 brief we can hold
- Date and start time — “after work” is not a clock
- Standing versus a few tables
- Trays to share, not twenty labelled lids unless you say so
- Who meets the bag in the lobby
This 5 à 7 is ours if
- A Montreal or Laval office that wants food, not a production
- A client drop-in that should not be twenty Uber Eats bags
- A host who can receive before people hit the chips
Skip us if
- A rooftop with a hired mixologist and passed bites
- A Friday 16:50 email for a 17:15 start
Drop-off is still the model. Individual boxes are the wrong shape for a standing room unless you insist. Holiday 5 à 7 in December should say Christmas or Réveillon so capacity is held on the right week.
MAPAQ kitchen, honest allergens. We will not invent canapé names to look like the SERP.
Write “5 à 7,” the date, the start, the pin.
